Wednesday night races at Macatawa Bay Yacht Club in Holland, Michigan near the Big Red Lighthouse Channel saw the team usually on the podium collecting lots of glasses. Perhaps the highlight of our racing career was first in glass and first in division in a Port Washington race. Our name is inscribed on the trophy at Port Washington yacht club.
The other life is that of a very accommodating cruising sailboat. The electric winch on the Cabin top provides enhanced handling of all sail handling functions and dingy functions. The dingy is stored upside down on the foredeck when under way. All sheet and halyard functions can go thru the electric winch.
Conveniences include an upgraded Galley with specific additions too numerous to list. Other additions worth mentioning include an inverter and TV. Accurate navigation is assured with three GPS’s. One in the cockpit at the helm
with the Autopilot.
A Gori three bladed folding prop works well in reverse in addition to being very efficient
in forward.

As I move on to the next challenge that is the restoration of a Shields hull found at the bottom of the San Francisco Bay, and a new class and world of racing opens up, it's time to move on from our warrior and trusted friend the Ghost Rider.
It is my hope, and that of the many faithful crew members that sailed and loved her over the years, that she find new owner and a crew ready for the challenges and joys of sailing that she offers.
Our best wish for her next season on the waters is Fair Winds and Following Seas!
